The Rodrunner® sectional drain cleaner from General Pipe Cleaners offers great features contractors like – light weight, high speed cable rotation, and short quick-coupling cables.
Best of all, General’s versatile machine can handle the toughest clogs in 3”-10” lines – as far as 200 feet away. And it can be used in almost any location!
In tight spots, Rodrunner can be placed close to the drain opening. The guide hose safely contains cable to prevent damage to people and property.
On jobs with working room, save your back! Simply slide the cable into the chuck – and lock the jaws into place. Then walk Rodrunner, “lawn-mover” fashion, towards the drain – one cable section at a time.
A heavy-duty 3/4 hp motor with capacitor and overload protection spins the cable at 700 rpm – the ideal speed for self-feeding cables into lines and protecting against sudden torque build-ups. For additional safety, Rodrunner includes an adjustable slip clutch.
Sectional cables snap together in seconds – and disassemble quickly with a coupling wrench or coupling key. The open cable coils automatically screw into lines, helping clear stubborn stoppages with less effort.
Cables are also available in a variety of lengths and connectors for General and competing brands. With the recently developed “G” connector, no torque is put on the locking pin when running the machine in reverse, making it a more durable coupling.

MILWAUKEE, WI – This fall, Milwaukee Tool kicks off its tenth season of Heated Gear.* This year gives way to the introduction of a brand-new category of Milwaukee® gear – the M12™ Heated AXIS™ Layering System. This system offers users the versatility to pair their M12™ Heated AXIS™ Jacket with either a HYDROBREAK™ Rain Shell or GRIDIRON™ Work Shell. Along with this new Layering System, Milwaukee’s new season of Heated Gear includes an Olive-Green color expansion to the M12™ Heated AXIS™ Jacket, a Gray M12™ Heated TOUGHSHELL™ Jacket, as well as a redesign of the M12™ Women’s Heated SOFTSHELL Jacket.
M12™ Heated AXIS™ Layering System
To combat extreme weather conditions, Milwaukee introduces the M12™ Heated AXIS™ Layering system. The new Layering System incorporates versatility into the Heated Gear line and is designed to withstand the heaviest rain and snow conditions. Using the M12™ Heated AXIS™ Jacket as the primary source of heat, users can complete the system by adding an outer shell – either the HYDROBREAK™ Rain Shell or GRIDIRON™ Work Shell. The HYDROBREAK™ Rain Shell provides 100% waterproof jobsite protection. With ripstop polyester for tear and abrasion resistance, polyurethane laminate providing 10K mm waterproofness, and an inner printed pattern for comfort and breathability, the HYDROBREAK™ Rain Shell is jobsite durable and built for rain. Velcro enclosures on the front zipper, pockets, and cuffs provides additional protection from rain, while a drop-tail extended back and standing collar with an adjustable hood ensures users all-day protection from the elements.
Additionally, users can combine the GRIDIRON™ Work Shell with the M12™ Heated AXIS™ Jacket to survive extreme cold on the jobsite. With 3X the durability and 25% less bulk**, the GRIDIRON™ Work Shell offers 60G insulation throughout the body and 40G insulation throughout the sleeves. When pairing the AXIS™ with the shell, all components of the M12™ Heated AXIS™ Layering system are optimized with pass-thru access to heat controls on both shells, offering 3X faster heat with 3 heat settings. The HYDROBREAK™ Rain Shell can also be worn as a standalone shell apart from the M12™ Heated AXIS™ Layering System.
M12™ Heated AXIS™ Jackets
The M12™ Heated AXIS™ Jacket design, first introduced last year, expands with a new Olive-Green color alongside the Black offering. The compressible design and weather resistant ripstop polyester material allow these jackets to be worn as a mid-layer or outer layer. M12™ Heat On Demand delivers 3X faster heat and allows users to reach optimal heat with the quick heat function. AXIS™ Ripstop Polyester protects against abrasion and tears on and off the jobsite while polyester insulation keeps heat in without adding bulk.
M12™ Heated TOUGHSHELL™ Jackets
The M12™ Heated TOUGHSHELL™ Jacket is now available in Gray, in addition to the Black, Realtree Edge® Camouflage, and Red color offerings. The M12™ Heated TOUGHSHELL™ Jacket is built to survive the elements with TOUGHSHELL™ Stretch Polyester that provides 5X longer life. This durable outer layer is wind and water resistant and will hold up to the harsh jobsite conditions users face every day. Like the AXIS™, this jacket features M12™ Heat on Demand and 3 adjustable heats settings.
M12™ Women’s Heated SOFTSHELL Jacket
Milwaukee also expands their women’s offering with a redesigned version of the M12™ Women’s Heated SOFTSHELL Jacket. Resized for a better fit, the M12™ Women’s Heated SOFTSHELL Jacket uses carbon fiber heating elements to create and distribute heat to the back, collar, and front pockets. Featuring a quilted softshell design and high-loft insulation, the jacket provides wind and water resistance while trapping in heat to provide extended warmth and comfort in cold conditions.
Milwaukee‘s M12™ Heated Gear provides the versatility, durability, utility, and comfort for use in cold conditions and all outdoor environments. M12™ REDLITHIUM™ Batteries are compatible with more than 90 cordless solutions on the M12™ System. *Milwaukee® Heated Gear: Powered by M12™ REDLITHIUM™ Battery Technology, Milwaukee® Heated Gear distributes heat across core body areas. Durable carbon fiber heating elements woven in between rugged exterior materials and thermal insulating liners generate and maintain heat to reduce the need for bulky layers. Three heat settings (High, Medium, Low) allow the user to select the right amount of warmth for all weather conditions. All M12™ Heated Jackets, Vests, Hoodies and Hand Warmers are fully machine washable and dryable for extended use. **Than 12 oz. Cotton Duck

RedTeam Software, the cloud-based construction management software provider, today announces its new app, TeamPlayer. TeamPlayer facilitates subcontractor collaboration by making it easier for all team members to access and respond to critical documents and transactions, resulting in more efficient communication, reduced risk, greater accountability, increased compliance and an overall improved subcontract relationship.
The app is free for subcontractors, granting them instant access to documents shared with them via RedTeam’s project management software. Subcontractors can view the status of their contracts, change orders, credentials, lien waivers, submittals and punch items. Users can also share day-to-day performance updates in real time and check in and check out at project sites based on their location.
TeamPlayer also addresses construction billing pain points. Improperly prepared or non-conforming applications for payment slow down cash flow and require costly administrative intervention to make corrections. Using TeamPlayer, Electronic Applications for Payment (eApps) streamline the subcontractor invoicing and payment process and are simple to create.
“The success of construction projects depends largely on the collaboration and communication between and amongst contractors and subcontractors. Updates to a project’s plan or unforeseen delays can change the trajectory of the project quickly,” said Michael Wright, CEO of RedTeam. “We created TeamPlayer as a solution that is free for subcontractors to use as part of the contractor’s use of RedTeam, helping entire projects to remain on-schedule and on-budget.”
TeamPlayer is available to be activated to RedTeam’s cloud-based construction project management software. Subcontractors can download and use the app for free or upgrade to a paid subscription to maintain protected access to the documentation they are collaborating on and access administrative controls. Over the weeks and months to come, TeamPlayer will incorporate many new functionalities, like field change order management, project check-in and subcontractors’ daily reports.
