RectorSeal LLC, a leading manufacturer of quality HVAC/R and plumbing products, is introducing pH-Pro condensate neutralizer products to the company’s full line of condensate management products.

pH-Pro products are code-compliant and work to safeguard drains, sewers, septic systems, and treatment facilities from the acidic condensate produced by condensing appliances, including boilers, water heaters, and gas furnaces. Condensate neutralization is a code requirement in many parts of North America. Where required, acidic condensate must be neutralized before it enters the drainage system.

RectorSeal now offers a variety of pH-Pro products, including tube style, recharge kits, and integrated condensate pumps. The tube-style neutralizers have patented, built-in unions with O-ring seals at each end. The unions ensure ease of installation, service, and media replacement. The clear tube allows for accurate visual inspection. All pH-Pro recharge kits include a spare O-ring when applicable for a secure connection. Two sack-filled condensate neutralizing pumps are available with up to 6 million BTU/h of appliance input and feature a large diameter screw-on cap for easy installation of pH-Pro media and visual inspection.

“RectorSeal is proud to include pH-Pro condensate neutralizer products in our full line of condensate management products,” said Karina Eureste, Product Development Manager at RectorSeal. “Our entire lineup is tested and trusted to provide our customers the best solutions to avoid costly damage caused by condensate.”

Since 1937, RectorSeal has offered products that have built a steadily growing and loyal following among contractors due to differentiated and proven product performance. Further, the company is often the first to tackle and solve challenges professional trade contractors face. In 2015, RectorSeal became part of CSW Industrials, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSWI), and it now plays a leading role in CSWI’s Contractor Solutions segment.

Enhanced product line provides users with improved process for sizing and selection

As part of Bell & Gossett’s efforts to enhance the customer service experience through simpler, streamlined solutions, the company announced a comprehensive update to its wastewater control panel product portfolio. This update includes 3DWS/4DWS Series Simplex Control Panels, 3DWS/4DWS Series Duplex Control Panels, 4DWC Series Simplex Control Panels and 4DWC Series Duplex Control Panels. By incorporating and standardizing frequently requested features, as well as implementing corresponding part numbers for all products, this enhancement both simplifies the product selection process and meets customer expectations. What’s more, using Bell & Gossett’s pump-to-panel selection chart minimizes the need for custom orders and the risk of incorrect ordering, enabling customers of all experience levels to select the right product.

“We’ve taken a significant step toward simplifying this process for our customers, reflecting our commitment to delivering the best solutions in the industry,” said Joe Steinberg, assistant product line manager, Xylem. “By incorporating sought-after features as standard and offering clear part numbers, we’re making it easier than ever for customers of all experience levels to confidently choose the best product to fit their needs.”

Engineered for wastewater, sewage and dewatering applications, DWS panels are designed for compatibility with Bell & Gossett 3DWS/4DWS pumps, while DWC panels are designed to work with Bell & Gossett 4DWC pumps. The Duplex options offer two-pump alternation and high-demand two-pump operation. All panels are constructed using a heavy-duty polycarbonate indoor/outdoor NEMA 4X panel enclosure with stainless steel lockable latches. The Simplex Panels come equipped with three normally open (N/O) float switches, each with a 50-foot cord, while Duplex Panels include four N/O float switches, also with 50-foot cords.

Both Simplex and Duplex options include a range of standard features, such as visible pump control indicators, a hand-off-auto (H.O.A.) switch, green pump run lights, red pump fault lights with a reset button, a power-on light, as well as a high-intensity red beacon alarm light, alarm test and silence buttons. All control panels offer remote monitoring options for high liquid, pump run(s) and pump fault(s). Upgraded pump protection includes motor protective switches and thermal cutout with indicators in addition to a seal failure circuit with indicator lights.

3DWS/4DWS Series Simplex Control Panels, 3DWS/4DWS Series Duplex Control Panels, 4DWC Series Simplex Control Panels and 4DWC Series Duplex Control Panels are made in the United States and are available in Xylem Solver. U.S. Boiler Company introduces the Ambient Electric Boiler for residential customers looking to modernize and electrify their hydronic heating systems.

The single-phase Ambient Electric Boiler is an ultra-compact, wall-hung boiler designed and supported by industry-leading hydronic experts.  The boiler is available in three capacities: 16, 20 and 24 kW, or 54,600, 68,200, and 82,000 BTUh, respectively.  Supply water temperatures between 90°F and 180°F can be provided, using field-proven electric elements.

Built for long-term consumer reliability, the boiler’s ASME Section IV stamped heat exchanger is assembled and welded in the US.  The cabinet is constructed of robust coated galvanized steel, and the system automatically cycles element usage.

The boiler features a proven control that provides dual setpoint operation, load management control, operation monitoring, with fault and dry-fire protection.

The new electric boiler can be installed quickly and inexpensively because venting, fuel supply and provision of combustion air are not required.  The unit weighs 54 pounds, and connections to the heat exchanger are on top, meaning that the system does not need to be drained in order to service the element.

To further simplify installation, an integral anti-short cycle-timer and two 60 AMP circuit breakers are included.  A flow switch, ASME 30 PSI pressure relief valve, pump switching relay and secondary manual reset hi-limit are also included.  The electric boiler is compatible with copper and aluminum wire (aluminum prohibited in Canada).  The new boiler is CSA C22.2 listed/UL 834 listed and features enhanced, individual element relays.

The Ambient Electric Boiler comes with a two-year parts and labor warranty and a 20-year heat exchanger warranty.  Regional electrification incentives may apply.
