ToughBuilt’s latest innovation provides the ultimate in stability, comfort, and functionality. What makes these knee pads outstanding is ToughBuilt’s premium manufacturing: abrasion-resistant 1680D fabric, rugged double-injected shell with non-slip rubber and shatter-resistant plastic made to the highest quality standards ensuring durability to withstand harsh work environments, saving you from constantly buying replacements. They also have heavily textured contact surfaces, so you feel safe and confident while on the job.
The G3R knee pads have an ergonomic fit: Thigh support keeps the knee centered within the kneepad, so your range of motion isn’t compromised. Our design provides ultimate stability, while also allowing complete side-to-side range of motion. The unique gel cushion and foam design embraces the natural shape of the knee and upper shin, maximizing pressure distribution for all day comfort. You can just put them on and leave them on. The elastic, EVA, buckle thigh and calf straps comfortably lock in place without cutting off circulation. Time wasted on constantly adjusting your equipment, is a thing of the past, because the G3R never rotates off your knee.

In what may be Milwaukee’s biggest endeavor into the plumbing and drain cleaning market to date we have the long awaited and oft asked about line of M18 powered cameras and even an M12 powered locator.
It looks like Milwaukee decided to go big right out of the gate with the 120′ and 200′ camera reels. Each are powered by the M18 500gb Control Hub and can be connected to the available wireless monitor or mobile device like a tablet or phone.
The 1080p camera gives the user the ability to pan in multiple directions which opens the viewing angle and details to a whole new level not seen before from other competitor’s cameras. This clarity will have users seeing more than ever before given the available pixels and clearer images when zoomed digitally.
Our notes from talks with Milwaukee product managers show that the full push rod cable is made up of a polyethylene outlet material with a fiberglass core. Some may be hesitant at first with that material combination but time will tell of its build quality and durability.
Additional information has been provided by Milwaukee Tool via a press release below:
The Modular Pipeline Inspection System is built around the M18™ 500GB Control Hub, compatible with either the 120’ or 200’ Pipeline Inspection Reels:

With up to 200’ of wireless connectivity to the M18™ Wireless Monitor or a mobile device, technicians have the freedom to take the results right to their customers and coworkers.
- For improved sewer line and camera head locating, the M18™ 500GB Control Hub is equipped with a built-in transmitter that energizes the entire length of the push cable.
- Integrated ONE-KEY™ technology provides the ability to track the tool’s location, manage it in inventory, and lock out the tool if lost or stolen.
- 120’ Pipeline Inspection Reel
- The 120’ Pipeline Inspection Reel features a 25mm, 1080p HD self-leveling camera head and a 10mm push cable that is built to maximize maneuverability in smaller lines and withstand the harsh conditions when navigating through cast iron, clay, and PVC pipes. Shurtape Technologies, LLC, a leading manufacturer and marketer of pressure-sensitive tapes, has expanded its HVAC product portfolio with new Shurtape® brand AF 099 UL 181A-P/B-FX Listed/Printed Aluminum Foil Tape. Leveraging the same technology as the brand’s trusted AF 100 UL 181A-P/B-FX Listed Foil Tape, AF 099 provides another durable, high-performing tape solution for busy HVAC contractors around the country.
Excellent Performance and Quality
AF 099 is an aluminum foil HVAC tape that is ideal for joining and sealing joints, connections and seams on rigid fiberglass ductboard and flexible air duct. It can also be used in place of mechanical fasteners on rigid ductboard. UL 181A-P/B-FX Listed and printed, AF 099 delivers full system closure – a system free of air leaks – by forming airtight bonds on joints and seams in temperatures ranging from -20 F to 260 F and in humid conditions.
Other applications for Shurtape’s AF 099 foil HVAC tape include repairing metal or sheet metal and temporary fixes for outdoor electrical boxes. In addition, it can be used for furnace installation/replacement, sheet metal ventilation fan exhaust ductwork, and dryer vent or bath fan installation jobs.
“Contractors have long trusted our AF 100 UL Listed foil tape for a range of HVAC applications, especially when it comes to delivering full system closure,” said Lisa Zierfuss, product manager for HVAC tapes at Shurtape Technologies. “Contractors need to minimize air leakage in order to pass inspection, and want reliable, high-performing tape solutions that deliver permanent, airtight bonds. AF 099 is another tool in their toolbox to get the job done right the first time.”

Emerson’s new RT-10 Rope Tester from Greenlee enables crews to reliably test rope conductivity in the field
Greenlee, part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, released its new HDE RT-10 rope tester, offering crews a portable and easy way to test a rope’s dielectric strength in the field. The RT-10 rope tester is designed to test any length of rope before use, providing clear visual and audible indications of contaminated sections.
The tester is powered by two field-replaceable 9-volt batteries and comes equipped with heavy-duty aluminum clamps, a magnetic mount for quick setup on equipment and a loud buzzer and bright LED lights to indicate a rope’s condition.
“Greenlee is passionate about investing in the safety of our customers working around high voltage applications in the field, which is why we developed this tester as part of the HDE high voltage product line,” said Ryan Berg, director of product management, Greenlee for Emerson. “The RT-10 rope tester helps take the guesswork out of whether or not a rope is conductive, allowing crews to better and more easily test the integrity of the rope on the spot.”

Pressgun 6 and Pressgun 6 Picco offer an affordable entry to pressing technology
Broomfield, Colo. — Viega LLC, the company which introduced pressing to North America, now has its own branded pressing tools for use with its fittings.
The Viega Pressgun 6 and Pressgun 6 Picco are now available in distributors and through Viega. The tools, which are the first in North America to carry the Viega name, cost less than similar press tools from other manufacturers and are an affordable way for contractors to adopt pressing.
“We know the cost of tools has been a barrier for some contractors who want to adopt pressing,” said Dominic Küng, Senior Manager, Product Portfolio. “The lower price of the Pressgun 6 and Pressgun 6 Picco will make it easier for those customers to buy a tool and begin realizing the enormous benefits of pressing.”
Tools aren’t a new offering for Viega. It has sold branded tools in Europe for years in collaboration with RIDGID, whichmanufactures the Pressgun 6 and Pressgun 6 Picco for Viega.
The Pressgun 6 is a no-frills, cost-efficient workhorse that can press up to 4″ ProPress copper and stainless and 2″ MegaPress with the V2 actuator and rings, as well as 2″ PureFlow PEX. Its features include:
- Eight-second press cycle
- LED display indicating number of presses left on a charge
- Steel cylinder head and jaw intake
- 270° rotating cylinder head
- Forward and backward compatibility with RIDGID batteries
The less expensive and less powerful Pressgun 6 Picco can press up to 11⁄4″ ProPress with the C1 actuator and rings, 11⁄2″ PureFlow and 3⁄4″ MegaPress.
Neither tool can be used with the MegaPress XL PressBooster or MegaPress Z3 Actuator.
Both tools come with an 18-volt lithium-ion battery and charger. The 2.5/5.0 Ah battery offers 25% more presses per charge than the previous battery. It includes a battery life indicator. The charger comes with a standard 100-240V charging cord and a 12V DC charging cord so it can be charged off a vehicle lighter. The battery also features forward and backward compatibility with RIDGID batteries, chargers and tools.
“We’re excited to make it possible for additional contractors to become more efficient and productive through pressing,”Küng said. “They’ll find that the Pressgun 6 and Pressgun 6 Picco will revolutionize their businesses and quickly pay for themselves.”
