Watts has announced the launch of the Pure Water Residential Dual Media 45K Softening and Filtration System. This comprehensive whole-house solution combines advanced water softening and filtration in a single, space-saving design.
The Pure Water Residential Dual Media 45K system is engineered to deliver optimal water softening with a maximum ion exchange capacity of 45,000 grains. The system incorporates Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), which effectively reduces chlorine taste and odors while extending the life of the softening resin, offering homeowners both superior performance and enhanced water quality.
In addition to its performance benefits, the system’s design maximizes efficiency and cost-effectiveness. By combining water softening and filtration technologies into one tank, the system reduces the space required for installation and lowers overall costs. The GAC and resin are housed in separate chambers, which not only enhances efficiency, but also reduces media replacement costs. Maintenance is further simplified with the inclusion of a mineral tank dome hole, providing easy access for GAC media replacement.
The Pure Water Residential Dual Media 45K system also features state-of-the-art computer programming, which optimizes operating efficiency and conserves both salt and water.
