Warwood Tools, renowned makers of hand-forged sledges, axes, mauls, chisels, hammers, and more, is proud to announce its sponsorship of AM Racing team’s ARCA Menards Series driver, Christian Rose, for the full 2023 ARCA Menards Series season. Headquartered in Statesville, North Carolina, AM Racing is a multi-tiered, multi-faceted Motorsports program which was established in December 2015 and embraces the values of faith, honesty, and intelligent performance. The family-owned team will compete in the ARCA Menards Series, the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series in its seventh year of competition. Warwood Tool’s sponsorship continues through the ARCA Menards season which ends in October 2023.
Speaking about Warwood Tool’s first venture into a Motorsports endeavor, president Chris Azur explained the company’s excitement: “Honestly, I’m so excited for the opportunity to connect with Christian and AM Racing, as the momentum we have at Warwood Tool is tremendous and should crossover well into the world of NASCAR,” offered Azur. “The goal is to take our nearly 170 years of American manufacturing to an entirely new audience which will appreciate the quality, USA-made products.”
Christian Rose, a former Division 1 baseball player for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, made his ARCA Menards Series debut at the famed 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway as part of a doubleheader with the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In addition to ARCA, Rose and AM Racing also plan to compete in a limited number of NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series races. Commenting on the new partnership, Rose said, “Warwood Tools has been a staple in West Virginia for nearly two centuries, and to be able to represent such a respected family-owned organization is such a blessing.” Noting that another sponsor is the West Virginia Department of Tourism, Rose added, “To welcome yet another West-Virginia-based company to our AM Racing team is fantastic, and with the dynamic family-type atmosphere that AM Racing instills, I feel like we’ve hit a homeroom with this new partnership.”
