Atlanta — Besides featuring the latest products and services for the cooling, heating and plumbing industry, PMA’s 1st Annual Expo will also feature former Atlanta Braves closer John Rocker.
John Rocker will be available for photographs and autographs during the Expo on Thursday, April 24th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the North Georgia Fairgrounds, Jim Miller Park, Marietta, Ga. In addition, you can also pick up a signed copy of Rocker’s book “Scars and Strikes”. Partial proceeds from book purchases will benefit the PHCC Education Foundation Scholarship Funds and John’s charity, Save Homeless Veterans, Inc.
The Expo will feature a variety of activities for cooling, heating and plumbing contractors, students, suppliers and other associated professionals. Highlights include:
Pre Register-Anyone who pre-registers for this event prior to April 1st, will have double the chance to win the 52″ TV. Only pre-registered attendees are eligible for this drawing. The first 250 registered attendees will also receive special event T-Shirt.
Education Seminars-Educational Seminars Earn 4 hrs CE Credits. Seminars will be held from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm. Topics include: Electricity for Plumbers * Grinder Pump 101 * Principles of Heat Pump Water Heaters, Trenching Tabulated Data Sheets * Gas Regulators * Creating & Maintaining Service and Maintenance Agreements * Paperless Invoicing on Smart Devices
Tradeshow Booths- More than 50 vendors will showcase the most innovative and latest products and services for the cooling, heating and plumbing industries. Free Admission- Expo hours are 1pm to 8pm. Over 100 Manufacturers Represented, where you can see new product lines, latest tools and services, win door prizes and giveaways including a special hunting trip and food will also be served.
Iron Man Competition- Iron Man Competition 1st Place Team Wins $500 Cash
6:00 pm-7:30 pm. Contest will consist of 2-person teams performing a cast iron and copper piping project in 90 minutes. No Fee to Compete. RULES: Registrants are to be 2-person teams. Contestants must wear work boots, long pants and bring their own safety glasses and hand tools. PMA will provide a list shortly of the required tools.
