Make sure your company is ready when the Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act takes effect on January 4, 2014.  Plan to participate in the Plumbing Contractors of America's (PCA) webinar on August 6, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. The new law specifies less than 0.25% lead content in potable water systems with respect to fittings and fixtures and no more than 0.2% with respect to solder and flux.  After January 4, you will only be able to install the new low-lead fixtures, fittings, valves, solder and flux on plumbing projects, including those that are already in progress.  This webinar, led by Mark Marini of Zurn Industries and Robin Hilton of Ferguson Enterprises, a Wolesley Company, will explain the law and its requirements, how manufacturers are preparing for the transition and actions you can take to ensure your company's compliance. This webinar is free as a benefit of MCAA/PCA/MSCA membership.
