OESP, the National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals, will launch the Home Comfort Specialist Academy at their Annual Convention and Trade Show from May 19-23, 2013 at the HERSHEY® Lodge in Hershey, PA. They invite all industry professionals to join them for several days of networking, education, and celebration.

“Our 2013 event will be extra special because it marks our Association’s 60th year of supporting energy-industry professionals,” says Judy Garber, Executive Director of OESP. “Much has changed in our industry, but our commitment to education never waivers. This year’s event will be a winner with the introduction of our latest initiative, the Home Comfort Specialist Academy.”

How many times did you lose a job because the consumer went with the “cheapest” company? How many times did you get a call to remedy that particular job that wasn’t done right? The Home Comfort Specialist Academy (HCSA) has been in its formative stages for almost two years. The overall objective of the HCSA is to provide information to participants that will give them confidence to successfully address the complex needs of today’s energy consumers. The goal of the HCSA is to help you close more sales and provide your customer with a system that keeps them comfortable, safe, and is the best solution for their energy dollars.

This year’s broad education schedule includes several modules of this program, which will be delivered by top industry experts. The topics include heat gain and heat loss, efficiencies and AFUE, prospecting and marketing, and customer relations.
