The new Metraloop® smartphone app puts a Metraloop expansion joint in your hand. The app lets engineers and contractors quickly see the total width and height dimension of a Metraloop. The user selects the fitting, the pipe size and the amount of movement, and the overall height and width dimensions are displayed. In addition to the Metraloop app, Metraflex also has a MetraSeal app which allows piping contractors to calculate the exact model and number of MetraSeal links they need. Once downloaded, the app works without a cell signal. Calculations can be made on the fly, so contractors can move from pipe to pipe and quickly make all their calculations to fill each penetration, and place their order for an entire project.
