Matco-Norca has expanded its Industrial product offerings with the addition of new Swage Nipples & Bull Plugs for use in oil and gas market applications.
Swage Concentric Nipples are reducers for high pressure piping systems that contain a bore matching that of the pipe they are fitted to. Bull Plugs are fittings that provide flow control by “plugging” branches and outlets of the piping system. Bull Plugs have long heads and a smaller threaded lower area for entering the piping system.
Matco-Norca’s Concentric Swage Nipples are available in Schedule 80 and Schedule 40 sizes: 1/2″-4” and 2”-4”, respectively. They are fully traceable back to the production mill (mill test results are available) and conform to MSS SP-95, ASME B1.20.1 and ASME B36.10M (for wall thickness) standards. Swage Nipples come in standard and XH concentric configurations.
Bull Plugs are available in Schedule 80 and Schedule 40 sizes: 1/2”-4” and 2”-4”, respectively. (For 2” Bull Plugs, 1/4″ and 1/2” configurations are available.) Matco-Norca Bull Plugs conform to MSS SP-95, ASME B1.20.1 and ASME B36.10M (for wall thickness) standards. Bull Plugs come in standard, XH and XH concentric configurations.
