Lebanon, Tenn. — Lochinvar has selected the winners of the VIP Installation Showcase and the VIP Drawing for November. Mustafa Aydin of American Plumbing Heating Service in Avon, Colorado, was named the VIP Showcase winner, and Joseph DiPietro of DiPietro Heating & Cooling, Inc. in Bradford, Massachusetts, was selected in the monthly drawing. As their prize, both contractors receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Nashville for the world’s largest country music festival in June.
An Impressive Installation
Aydin’s entry in the VIP Showcase highlighted the installation of a 285,000 Btu/hr KNIGHT Wall Mount Boiler at a 10,000 square-foot Colorado home. To accompany the KNIGHT, Aydin and his team installed Lochinvar’s new SMART SYSTEM™ Multi Temperature Loop Control (MTLC). The MTLC accurately controls up to three separate space heating loop temperatures while maximizing the efficiency of the boiler, simplifying multiple temperature hydronic heating systems
The home has subfloor radiant heating on the second and third floor, with slab heating on the first level. Aydin and his team also installed a hydronic fan coil system to heat the garage, as well as two side-arm tanks for domestic hot water.
“We’ve been wanting to try out the MTLC since it was introduced, and this is the first opportunity we’ve had,” said Aydin. “It worked perfectly for this installation and helped us to control the water temperature without giving up any efficiency.”
