According to Clint Andrews, technical training manager for Grundfos North America, and manager overseeing the Ecademy project, Ecademy is driven by Grundfos’ desire to get closer to its customers. The open forum platform allows Grundfos to reach customers with training and education whenever they want and wherever they are. “Training is essential to fostering the adoption of innovative technology and lifting the industry as a whole. We want to educate our market, get closer to our customers and, as a result, sell more pumps,” says Andrews.

The platform features global as well as local content in a variety of formats such as videos, slideshows, articles and interactive tools. Through the portal, customers will be able to access classes on topics such as products, applications and industry standards.

“Ecademy allows us to get closer to our customers by providing training across our markets which, in turn, supports our growth objectives. We are positioned to reach potential students through a combination of learning from the successful European roadmap, excellent North American training content, a comprehensive marketing and promotion plan, and strong administration,” says Dennis Wierzbicki, president of Grundfos USA.
