Gary Cole, operations manager of T&S Brass and Bronze Works, has been appointed co-chair of Plumbing Manufacturers International’s (PMI’s) Government Affairs Committee. Cole, who will complete the term of Danny Gleiberman, now co-chair of the agency’s Water Efficiency and Sustainability Committee, will share the role with Joel Smith, from Kohler Company.
PMI is a voluntary, not-for-profit trade association which serves as a sounding board, information resource and public policy advocate for manufacturers of plumbing industry products. The organization’s Government Affairs Committee serves as a liaison with government agencies, legislators and regulators at all levels to provide information and implement action as warranted for PMI’s public policy needs.
“Public policy pertaining to the plumbing industry is very dynamic,” said Cole. “This necessitates that constant attention be given to federal, state and local government activities. I look forward to working on behalf of our industry to assure that its needs and concerns are properly addressed and protected.”
