Franklin Park, Ill. — Sloan, the Official Water Efficiency Partner of the Chicago Cubs, is proud to once again host the team at its Spring Training facility, Sloan Park, in Mesa, AZ this season.

The reigning National League Central champions for two consecutive years open their Cactus League home schedule at Sloan Park Saturday, February 24, against the Texas Rangers at 2:05 CST.

“We’re excited for Cubs baseball to officially get underway in 2018, and that all starts at Sloan Park,” said Sloan president, Graham Allen. “As both players and fans alike return to the ballpark, they will be greeted with the same innovative Sloan products that have been a part of both Sloan Park and Wrigley Field for the last several years.”

Sloan Park features the company’s AER-DEC® integrated sinks in the public restrooms behind the Suites and Party Deck level. The all-in-one AER-DEC elements — including BASYS® Faucets, Sloan® Soap Dispensers and High-Speed Hand Dryers deck mounted on the patent-pending AirBasin sink — are designed to work together as a beautiful, touch-free, hygienic and highly efficient system.

Sloan’s products are not only hygienic, but also engineered for water conservation, as Arizona is currently in its 21st year of long-term drought, according to the Arizona State Climate Office. Sloan’s 0.35 gallons per minute (gpm) flow rate faucets and ECOS® Flushometers are reducing water volumes by 30 percent or more.

“At Sloan, we understand the water challenges many of our customers are faced with on a daily basis,” Allen added. “We’re working every day to make sure the commercial restroom is part of the solution to that problem.”
