RectorSeal, a leading manufacturer of HVAC/R and plumbing accessories, has announced the addition of LineGate, an innovative HVAC lineset protection system. LineGate is designed to protect and beautify by blocking air leakage, moisture penetration, extreme weather, and rodent intrusion while hiding unsightly wall penetrations where HVAC linesets enter or exit structures.

Designed for quick installation, the base is wall-mounted around the HVAC line set, and the cover snaps securely together for durable protection. The snap-on cover allows for easy removal during repairs or maintenance. Also, LineGate is fully compatible with the Slimduct SD Flexible Ell for full coverage protection.

Constructed of high-grade PVC and fire-retardant chemicals, LineGate is UV-stabilized for use in a temperature range of -4° to 140°F (-20℃ to 60℃). Available in white, LineGate comes in two sizes: 4-inch and 5-5/8-inch. LineGate is suitable for new and retrofit ductless and unitary HVAC systems.

“This is a great addition to our product line,” said Derek Skogan, Product Marketing Manager at RectorSeal. “Not only is LineGate sleek and aesthetically pleasing, but it also adds outstanding protection to any HVAC lineset.”

RectorSeal, a leading manufacturer of HVAC/R and plumbing accessories, has announced the launch of Dust Free Sixteen, a high-efficiency, low-resistance MERV 16 media air cleaner designed to provide superior whole-home air filtration with minimal maintenance and energy consumption. The Sixteen boasts a remarkable filter life of up to three years, making it a long-lasting indoor air quality solution.

Dust Free Sixteen integrates seamlessly into upflow, horizontal, attic, and basement HVAC systems. Its design features multiple pleated media filters, offering up to 280 square feet of long-lasting media surface area with a pressure drop that rivals less-efficient MERV 8 filters. The Sixteen captures allergens, smoke particles, and bacteria as small as 0.3 microns.

The Sixteen will provide years of reliable operation. It is solidly built with corrosion-resistant materials, including a 3003 aluminum cabinet, ABS plastic frame corners, and aluminum filter rails. It ships partially assembled for easy transport and quick field assembly. Available in 3-ton and 5-ton sizes, the Sixteen meets SEER 2 requirements for energy efficiency.

“Dust Free Sixteen sets a new standard for MERV 16 filtration,” said Gregg Burnett, VP and GM of Dust Free. “It offers cleaner and healthier air without compromising efficiency or convenience for our customers.”

Water pressure is a key part of any plumbing system, but there is potential for too much of a good thing. The 535/536 Pressure Reducing Valve Kit is a problem solving assembly for applications where a single valve won’t cut it. Simplified, two-stage pressure reduction can save the day when high incoming water pressure puts extra stress on your system components.

For high-pressure plumbing systems, controlling water pressure is crucial to prevent damage and ensure reliable operation. When supply pressures exceed 200 psi, typically in high-rise buildings or systems with booster pumps, but also in water districts with high street pressures, a single Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) may struggle to reduce pressure to a safe level. This can lead to issues like noisy and destructive cavitation, and ultimately damaging the other components all the way down to the faucet.

The 535/536 Pressure Reducing Valve Kit offers a solution with a two-stage pressure reduction system. The kit includes the Caleffi 536 PresCal HP piston-type PRV, perfect for the initial high-pressure stress and the 535 PresCal diaphragm-type PRV to dial in the perfect pressure at the taps.

This two-stage approach not only prevents cavitation but also extends the lifespan of the valves and other system components. It provides a reliable and efficient way to manage high-pressure scenarios, ensuring quiet and safe operation in even the most demanding plumbing environments. Whether dealing with inconsistent municipal supplies or high-rise booster systems, the 535/536 kit is a robust solution for maintaining optimal pressure levels.

New Werner extension ladder accessory automatically levels the ladder on uneven surfaces; easy to install with no cutting of the ladder.

Werner, the world leader in ladders and manufacturer of advanced climbing and fall protection products, is proud to announce the introduction of the new LevelSafe Pro ladder accessory. This cutting-edge innovation represents a significant advancement in extension ladder leveling technology. Designed with trade professionals in mind, the LevelSafe Pro enhances user safety and efficiency by allowing for effortless ladder leveling on uneven surfaces. The accessory features sophisticated technology that automatically adjusts the ladder to a level position upon placement. In instances where the ladder is positioned on soft ground, its precision micro-adjust system enables users to make fine modifications without the need to lift or reposition the ladder.

This new product addresses a longstanding challenge within the industry, eliminating the need for manual ladder repositioning to achieve a level setup. The LevelSafe Pro promises to streamline operations, enhance stability, and improve overall safety for professionals working at height.

“Working on uneven ground is a common challenge for industry pros,” said Rachel Maslovitz, Associate Product Manager, Pro Climbing at Werner. “Too many people depend on questionable practices like leveling dirt by hand or using jobsite scrap. Our extension ladder leveling accessory system provides an easy, efficient and precise way to level a ladder. It empowers professionals and all users to work confidently on any surface.”

Easy to Install, Control and Level

The new Werner LevelSafe Pro extension ladder accessory can be installed up to 50 percent faster than other ladder leveling accessories. The no-nonsense installation is simple, straight-forward and doesn’t require cutting the ladder.

Key features of the new Werner LevelSafe Pro extension accessory include:

  • Automatic leveling: Simply place the ladder on uneven surfaces and the leveler adjusts to find level. The new innovative accessory system provides precision and convenience, while smoothly and automatically leveling the ladder up to 8.5” without having to pick up the ladder.
  • Simple installation: It installs in half the time of other levelers and requires no cutting of the ladder. The LevelSafe Pro Extension Ladder accessory includes two ladder levelers (one per rail), mounting hardware, template and instructions.
  • Micro-adjust technology: Easily engage or disengage micro-adjust technology with 90-degree rotation of handles and find level with included bubble level.
  • Compatibility: Designed specifically for Werner Ladders, the LevelSafe Pro works with most Werner fiberglass and aluminum extension ladders.

Werner’s LevelSafe Pro is now available nationwide. For more information, visit www.wernerladder.com.
