Heat pump efficiency and comfort now available in an electric water heater

Bosch Home Comfort, a leading source of high-quality heating, cooling and hot water systems, announces the official market launch of the GreenTronic 7000 T Hybrid Electric Water Heater. Originally unveiled at the AHR Expo and Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2024, the GreenTronic 7000 T Hybrid Electric Water Heater introduces heat pump technology to an electric storage water heater — resulting in a product that is three to four times more efficient than a traditional electric water heater, and Bosch’s most efficient water heater yet.

Utilizing heat pump technology, the GreenTronic 7000 T transfers heat from the surrounding air into the storage water tank. This technology enables the GreenTronic 7000 T to achieve superior energy efficiency compared to traditional electric options and is an excellent professional installation choice for both retrofits and new construction.
