Novi, Mich. — BrassCraft Manufacturing, widely considered the go-to-manufacturer for stops for over 65 years, has a stop platform for every plumbing professional's needs. As early pioneers in innovating and refining the one-piece water supply stop, the Company's long-standing commitment to innovation continues today with three water stop platforms including its multi-turn stop, the G2™ Series ¼ turn stop, and the KT™ Series ¼ turn ball stop.

BrassCraft Manufacturing has recently launched 'The Water Stops Here' campaign to focus on its premium KT Series quarter-turn water ball stop.  What differentiates the KT Series stop from others on the market are its sleek appearance and its specially engineered machined brass ball. Designed to mate with PTFE seats, it provides corrosion resistance, a watertight seal and smooth on-off operation for ease of use, even after long periods of time. These stops provide quality, dependability and innovation.

“BrassCraft® stops are designed, machined and assembled in the U.S.A. to quality specifications that consistently exceed the industry standard”, said Krisztina Wilson , Product Manager for water supplies.  “Additionally, to help customers prepare as the new nationwide no-lead law quickly approaches, all BrassCraft Manufacturing stops are no-lead compliant”, explained Wilson.

The new federal no-lead legislation, Federal Public Law 111-380, goes into effect January 2014 and prohibits the sale of plumbing fixtures with a wetted surface area containing more than a weighted average of 0.25% lead. This law virtually eliminates the lead content of pipes, pipe fittings and fixtures intended to convey or dispense water for drinking or cooking.
With facilities in Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, California and Texas, BrassCraft Manufacturing continues to invest in the most advanced design and manufacturing technologies, while developing the industry's finest quality plumbing solutions. For more info,
