Bosch Announces 2013 Green Living Award Winners

Londonderry, New Hampshire Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. has announced the winning entries in its first annual Green Living Awards contest. The Green Living Awards, sponsored by Bosch Thermotechnology North America, is open to installing contractors and dealers, home and light commercial builders, and engineering specifiers to reward selection and installation of Bosch high efficiency products. In addition, the Green Living Awards contest includes an art, photography and creative writing contest for children 2-16 years old.

The Bosch Green Living Awards for North America are modeled after a highly successful program in the United Kingdom carried out since 2000 by Worcester Bosch (UK).  The contest is designed to emphasize Bosch’s

commitment to protecting the environment while encouraging energy efficient, sustainable practices in HVAC.

Award categories include A/C geothermal, floor/wall-mounted boilers, domestic hot water and a Total System Solution award recognizing an installation employing a combination of Bosch, Buderus & FHP  heating/cooling products. Winners in each category receive a cash gift card from Bosch.

Dustin Oliver

Integrity Services, Jefferson, Maine

(Buderus GB162 condensing gas boiler & ST200 indirect hot water tank installed in Moody’s Diner, Waldoboro, Maine)

(Note: There were no 2013 winners selected for the Domestic Hot Water category.)

The Total System Solution winner, HL Turner Group, was on hand at the Bosch hospitality event held onboard the USS Intrepid Museum in New York City on January 20th to receive the Bosch Green Living award.  Steve

Caulfield, lead engineer for the HL Turner Group, accepted the award for firm owner Harold Turner.

For the children’s art, photography and creative writing contest, children are encouraged to submit creative expressions under the subject “How can we live a greener life?” Winners in three age groups (2-6, 7-11 and 12-16) receive cash gift cards.

The 2014 Green Living Awards contest is now open and runs through November 30, 2014 for submission of entries. The contest expands for 2014 with the addition of Commercial level entries.
