image002Burr Ridge, Ill. – Weil-McLain® has added three smaller sizes to its advanced high-efficiency Evergreen™ condensing boiler line in order to accommodate small to average size residential applications. The 95% AFUE boiler is now available in 70, 110 and 155K BTUH input sizes, joining the existing 220, 299 and 399 sizes.

“With the addition of these three new sizes, we now have a complete line of Evergreen units ideal for both small and large residential projects as well as light commercial applications,” said Mike Boyd, product manager with Weil-McLain. “These durable units are adaptable for most heating demands to effortlessly ensure heating comfort through multiple zones, and feature cutting-edge technology with simple controls and flexible functionality.”

For the homeowner who seeks heating comfort while maintaining lower utility bills and a reduced carbon footprint, the Evergreen features an AFUE rating of 95% and is designated as Most Efficient by ENERGY STAR®, a distinction that recognizes highly efficient products.

“The Evergreen derives its name from its sustainable design and represents the leading edge in energy efficient boilers,” said Boyd. “Installation of the unit could allow homeowners to qualify for local utility rebates, where available.”

The boiler’s straightforward and user-friendly design makes installation easy for contractors. The unit features a guided setup wizard, an easy to understand graphical user interface, simple controls and 10 heating system presets for quick setup.

For the residential and light commercial customer who requires a multiple boiler setup, the Evergreen offers the ability to cascade two to eight boilers together, and ZoneStacking® up to 24 programmable zones with no external panel required.

ZoneStacking reduces the installation costs and time while increasing reliability. With this advanced control feature, the Evergreen boiler maintains optimal efficiency through lead-lag rotation and balanced heat loading.

In commercial applications, optimal energy efficiency yields reduce energy costs with up to 96.5% combustion efficiency. The SmartSequencing® feature maximizes energy across all boilers on a system, reducing energy costs.

The flexibility of the Evergreen boiler system reduces setup time and costs as well. Three multiple-boiler sequencing options include smart mode, series mode and parallel mode.

The units also offer quiet operation, an aesthetically pleasing design, and can either be wall mounted or floor standing.

Other key features include:
·         Stainless steel, fire-tube heat-exchanger with non-metallic base
·         Modbus® communication with BMS connectivity
·         Natural or propane gas
·         Easy to use set-up wizard on familiar interface for easy install
·         Interactive diagnostic capability
