Matco-Norca lead free CPVC brass adapter fittings

For use in new or retrofit installations in residential and light commercial plumbing systems, Matco-Norca offers new lead free CPVC brass adapter fittings in time for the federal lead free mandate. Matco’s lead free CPVC brass adapter fittings come with a durable overmolded one-piece fitting that eliminates a union tail-piece connection and stops a possible leak path. Its end-piece with slip connection is also made of molded CPVC. Completing the adapter fitting is a forged tail-piece with an internal knurl and EPDM O-ring.  CPVC brass adapter fittings are pressure rated to 100 psi at 180°F and 150 psi at 100°F. CPVC adapters – stocked in sizes 1/2” – 2” – are manufactured to the material and dimensional requirements of ASTM D-2846. Its male and female threads are manufactured to the ASME B 1.20.1 standard.
