Rheem is expanding its line of tankless water heaters with the introduction of the new Prestige® Series Condensing and Mid-Efficiency Tankless Gas Water Heaters. Loaded with features that will save water, energy, and installation time, and with diagnostics that ensure quick troubleshooting and fewer callbacks, the Prestige tankless water heaters were built from the ground up with contractors in mind.
The line is equipped with a host of new, industry-leading performance features that are exclusive to Rheem: the Water Savings Setting decreases water flow until it reaches the water heater’s set temperature, saving homeowners up to 1,100 gallons of water per year; the Maintenance Notice Setting alerts homeowners after one to one-an-a-half years of use, flashing a warning code to call for a service check, and the new Recirculation Timer Settings control the pump on the water heater itself, eliminating the need for an aquastat, timer and additional power outlet. For improved performance and convenience, the units have an industry-leading minimum flow rate of .26GPM and minimum activation flow rate of .40 GPM. And with Rheem’s exclusive Hot Start Programming, we have minimized the coldwater sandwich for continuous hot water without cold water burst in between back to back hot water needs. So, after you turn off the hot water, the water heater remains in a ready-fire state just in case you need more hot water right away.
The new Prestige Series Tankless Water Heaters are eligible for Federal Tax Credit paybacks of up to $300 through December 31, 2016.
All of the Rheem Prestige tankless units are compatible with 1⁄2″ gas lines and the condensing models have a Built-in Condensate Neutralizer and low-cost PVC venting compatibility.
“We know that installation of tankless water heaters comes with unique challenges so we’ve engineered the Prestige Series with that in mind,” said Stacey Gearhart, Director, product and channel marketing, Rheem Water Heating Division. “We’ve taken great care to build in features that streamline the installation process, and we’ve made sure the products are compatible with many different applications.”
When it comes to tankless water heating solutions, Rheem is a trusted partner across the country.
