New products complement Rinnai’s existing inventory of commercial and residential heating solutions

Rinnai America Corporation is launching a complete line of high- and low-intensity infrared heaters to deliver efficient, quiet comfort with innovative gas infrared technology to customers. The latest additions from Rinnai complements the existing commercial and residential product offerings, while still holding true to delivering the best total solutions. Available beginning in May 2021, the Rinnai SE and SE+ Infrared Patio Heaters, HE Series Infrared Tube Heater and HE+ Series Infrared Radiant Tube Heaters will provide various options for indoor and outdoor heating to customers and businesses:

  • Rinnai SE Infrared Patio Heater: A stainless steel overhead radiant heater, the SE Infrared Patio Heater is available in single and two-stage models and is specifically designed for outdoor commercial and hospitality establishments, providing uniform radiant comfort to patrons.
  • Rinnai SE+ Infrared Patio Heater: Similar to the SE Infrared Patio Heater, the SE+ is also available in stainless steel and designed for outdoor commercial and hospitality establishments; however, this version comes in more sizes, low mounting clearances to combustibles and has an attractive black finish, allowing the heater to blend seamlessly into the background.
  • Rinnai HE Series Infrared Tube Heater: Ideal for heating an indoor workshop, garage or small commercial space, the HE Series Infrared Tube Heater utilizes up to 65% less energy than traditional forced air heating systems and is the ideal heat source to keep garages warm and dry.
  • Rinnai HE+ Series Infrared Radiant Tube Heater: Perfect for commercial, industrial, warehouse and distribution center applications, this infrared heater with Electronically Commutated (EC) Motor technology is one of the most efficient, quiet and powerful tube heaters available.

“At Rinnai, we’re committed to Creating a Healthier Way of Living® by strategically expanding our product portfolio into new markets and categories,” said Frank Windsor, President of Rinnai America Corporation. “The launch of our new infrared heaters adds significant impact to our expansion strategy, as it complements our already existing commercial and residential heating portfolio.”

Outdoor Patio Heating
Customers can enjoy patios, decks, pool areas and other residential outdoor gathering spaces well into the cooler months with the SE and SE+ Infrared Patio Heaters. Utilizing high intensity infrared technology to heat like the sun, the patio heaters provide even and energy efficient heat distribution. The patio heaters can also mount overhead, saving space for seating.

“The affordability and performance are ideal for anyone looking to extend the outdoor season, increase revenue and amortize within one or two seasons,” said Dale Schmitz, Marketing Segment Manager at Rinnai.

The SE and SE+ Infrared Patio Heaters are built to withstand harsh outdoor environments and coastal regions. The heaters are constructed with 316 marine-grade stainless steel to prevent rusting, a patented ceramic tile design that evenly and efficiently distributes heat and built-in gas lines to eliminate portable propane tanks.

Indoor Garage or Workshop Heating
Rinnai’s HE Compact Infrared Tube Heater is a great choice for hobbyists. The residential and light commercial garage heater provides radiant comfort for garage and workshop year-round and eliminates condensation that can damage tools. The heater comes preassembled for easy installation right out of the box, operates quietly and works in low clearances.

Commercial, Industrial, Warehouse and Distribution Heating
Rinnai’s HE+ Infrared Radiant Tube Heater optimizes heating in large spaces with gas-fired infrared technology, providing more than 85% radiant efficiencies throughout a full range of operation. The heater uses an Electronically Commutated (EC) Motors across the HE+ product line of single-stage, two-stage and modulating infrared tube heaters.

“Rinnai’s EC motor is more efficient than other motors commonly used in infrared tube heaters,” said Schmitz. “It focuses radiant heat to where it is most required, such as high traffic, occupied areas, unlike forced air systems that heat the entire airspace which can be expensive and inefficient.”
