Watts Introduces QT-CFP-5.5T-KIT to Streamline Closet Carrier Installations
The QT-CFP-5.5T-KIT is a complete assembly kit that includes all necessary components for fast and straightforward installation. Each kit comes with a pre-assembled faceplate with legs set for a standard 5 1/2″ rough-in, as well as an 11 1/2″ threaded ABS nipple, bowl and fitting gaskets, threaded rods, and the required hardware.
Designed specifically for use with 500 lb. closet carriers, the kit is also featured as the standard assembled version for 750 and 1,000 lb. carriers. The threaded carrier fitting connects directly to the rear of the faceplate assembly and integrates seamlessly with the sanitary piping system, promoting consistent and high-quality installations.
New Threaded Trim Kit Enhances Versatility for QT QuickTurn™ Closet Carriers
The QT-CFP-5.5T-KIT will now be the default selection when the (-T) option is chosen on all QT QuickTurn™ Closet Carriers, delivering greater customization and jobsite versatility for prefab contractors and engineers.

The EVOX All Climate Heat Pump system features Enhanced Vapor Injection (EVI) technology, ensuring up to 100% heating output at -31°F/-35°C and continuous operation down to -40°F/-40°C, making it an ideal solution for cold-climate electrification efforts. It also performs reliably in hot weather—delivering up to 100% cooling output at 140°F/60°C and continuous operation up to 149°F/65°C.

Installers will appreciate the block-n-lock modular air handler unit (AHU), which breaks down into three easy-to-move components (coil, blower, filter) for fast, flexible installation in tight spaces like attics and crawl space. The AHU’s dual-voltage compatibility (115V & 208/230V) allows it to seamlessly replace existing gas furnaces with minimal electrical upgrades, while the multi-position design supports six configuration options.

Bosch Home Comfort, a leading source of high-quality heating, cooling and hot water systems, has unveiled a new R-454B version of its Bosch Climate 5000 Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pumps in compliance with low GWP A2L refrigerant requirements. This latest model will leverage a low GWP R-454B refrigerant while continuing to offer a simple and seamless installation, making it easy and effortless to cool and heat #LikeABosch.
Designed for effortless installation without the need for ductwork, Bosch mini-splits offers efficient heating and cooling with whisper-quiet operation. These systems also include a factory-installed A2L Sensor on the evaporator coil that directly connects to the indoor unit’s control base. The quiet-performing condenser can power up to six indoor air handlers to offer a multi-zone, whole house solution for homeowners.
In addition, the Climate 5000 Ductless Mini-Splits series also features infrared technology known as the Intelligent Eye. Implemented on the exterior unit, the Intelligent Eye is used to sense when people are inside the room to offer increased automated temperature controls. If the room is empty, the Intelligent Eye technology will automatically ease off the compressor speed in an effort to conserve energy for the homeowner and improve humidity control.

Altair’s inverter-driven compressor offers exceptional performance, comfort, and energy savings, ensuring optimal operation in almost any environment. Available on select models, special operation extends cooling capabilities down to -4°F.
