Just a few weeks ago we told you the top 3 reasons you can’t miss the 2018 AHR Expo coming to Chicago in January, and one of the major draws is the newly-expanded education program. This year, we’ve built the agenda into the largest-ever education and training program in the Show’s history.

The agenda features more than 120 sessions including free best practices and industry trends seminars from leading HVACR organizations, professional certification opportunities, and continuing education programs from ASHRAE.

AHR Expo SeminarsGet practical solutions to real problems — The AHR Expo’s free seminar program puts the product experts front and center. The more than 70 free, one- to two-hour seminars focus on a range of topics to keep you in-the-know and are hosted by participating industry organizations, making them easy to find for a one-on-one follow-up session on the exhibit floor.

Contractors, engineers and other Show attendees always give the education program high marks for the value it delivers, as industry professionals can earn CEUs, complete certification exams, and learn about the latest developments and best practices in free and paid seminars.

Here are some highlights from the 2018 agenda:

  1. Building Automation Systems 101
  2. Radiant Cooling in the Windy City

More than 40 free contractor-focused seminars will be offered during the Show a number of which are already approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and others that qualify toward requirements in many regions.

ASHRAE will be offering six free conference sessions at the Show specifically developed with the contractor in mind. Topics include improving the indoor residential environment, maximizing residential energy performance, next generation refrigerants, and strategies for improving IAQ and healthy water systems.

These seminars and the ability to earn industry certifications provide even more opportunity to expand your industry expertise – a vital component of staying ahead of the competition when you get home.
