Bosch Home Comfort, a leading source of high-quality heating, cooling and hot water systems, has introduced two new models to its Bosch Air Series air purifiers. The Bosch Air 500 and Bosch Air 1000 are compact enough to sit on a nightstand, desk or dresser, offering clean, healthy air in smaller spaces.
“Following the successful launch of the Bosch Air Series in 2024, these new models extend our commitment to improving indoor air quality,” said Divya Darshini Piskala, Product Manager at Bosch Home Comfort. “Research shows that indoor air can contain two to five times more pollutants than outdoor air. With advanced Bosch filtration technology, these units deliver powerful, quiet performance in a compact design, making them ideal for small spaces and bringing fresh air where you need it most.”
Leveraging innovative filtration technology similar to models for larger rooms, these two latest models effectively improve air quality in rooms up to 500 square feet in size (about the area of two-car garage) with varying features. Designed for simplicity and performance, Bosch Air Purifiers feature easy-to-use controls and help remove over 99% of all particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust, viruses and odors from the air.
Bosch Air 500 Specifications
Bosch Air 500 was designed to provide clean and healthy air in the home and offers basic controls and portability. Bosch Air 500 features include:
- Removes over 99% of all particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust, viruses, and odors
- Can be placed on a bedside table, desk, dresser, or other table-top surface
- Filters air in rooms up to 500 sq. ft. in 60 minutes, or up to 100 sq. ft. (AHAM) in 12 minutes
- Purifies the air with an output (CADR) of 70 CFM
- Features a prefilter/HEPA filter, sleep mode, and child lock
- Equipped with a USB Type C charging port
- Stands 10.63 inches tall
Bosch Air 1000 Specifications
Bosch Air 1000 offers the same functionality and powerful air purification as Bosch Air 500, with a few upgraded features, including:
- Auto mode which uses a built-in smart sensor to automatically adjust fan speed based on detected pollution levels and room size.
- A light ring indicator that displays air quality via color (Blue = Good, Purple = Ok, Orange = Poor, Red = Bad).
The Bosch Air 500 and Bosch Air 1000 join other air purifiers in the Bosch Air Series line, including:
- Bosch Air 2000: Filters the air in rooms up to a size of 810 ft².
- Bosch Air 4000: Filters the air in rooms up to a size of 1,345 ft².
- Bosch Air 6000: Filters the air in rooms up to a size of 2,745 ft².
