The MrPEX Systems Simple Zone Controller is designed for 2- or 3-wire thermostats and supports control of up to four independent zones. Each zone terminal accommodates up to three MrPEX® Thermal Actuators or Zone Valves, wire a jumper for additional actuators as needed.
Each zone’s thermostat controls its corresponding actuator output terminal. The actuator outputs utilize a shared end switch circuit, streamlining call-for-heat signaling. An internal fuse provides overcurrent protection for the controller circuitry.
The unit requires a 24VAC power source supplied by an external transformer rated for sufficient VA capacity to support all connected actuators and the controller load.
