Wichita, Kan. —Viega LLC announces the promotion of Derek Bower to the position of product director, metal press systems. As product director, Bower will be responsible for managing the business team, and developing and implementing policies and procedures for launching new, innovative product lines, as well as supporting existing product lines. Bringing 15 years of industry experience to the position, Bower has been at Viega since 2010, joining first as a senior product engineer. He was promoted to associate product manager for Viega ProPress systems in 2011.
“Through his time here at Viega, Derek has proven his resolve and commitment to our industry,” said Christian Geisthoff, Viega LLC vice president for market innovation. “Derek understands what quality and innovation mean to Viega and has always worked for the benefit of our customers and our industry as a whole.”
Prior to joining Viega, Bower held the positions of project manager and sales engineer at Atomatic Mechanical Services, a design-build commercial mechanical contractor.
