Travelers Rest, S.C. — T&S Brass and Bronze Works announced its newly revamped T&S University, an online training program for representatives, dealers, wholesalers and consultants.

The first T&S University launched in 2003 with great success. Given technology’s dramatic evolution over the past decade, though, the company decided a complete overhaul of the program was in order. New features include a more user-friendly, interactive student experience, tangible incentive rewards for participation, updated course content to match the company’s growing product line and the ability to complete courses on tablet devices as well as desktop computers.

“We’re very excited,” says corporate training manager Joan Taylor. “The more informed our channel members are, the better they understand the unique features and superior performance of T&S products. TSU courses are designed to provide a thorough working knowledge of our brand and our products.”

Courses are now available on the T&S Family of Products, Base Faucets & Cartridges, Inlets & Supply Connections, Nozzles, Aerators & Outlets, and Handles; additional courses on both foodservice and plumbing products will be added before the end of the year. A resource center will be provided for each course, where relevant collateral, presentation and other tools can be viewed or downloaded. After completing 15 courses, students are considered officially T&S-certified and, for each level of coursework completed, points are awarded that can be cashed in for incentives ranging from coffee mugs and ball caps to fleece vests and golf shirts.

The new and improved T&S University is just one facet of the company’s growing training program which includes a 4400-square foot training center, new CEU programs and more. “This is an exciting time for the T&S network,” says Taylor. “We’ve always taken great pride in our superlative customer service and felt training was a significant aspect of that. But you’ll see an even greater emphasis on training in the months ahead, and we believe that’s a win-win development for everyone.”
