Taco’s mixing valve line has expanded – increasing from six to 65 SKUs – and are available in lead-free alloys with tamper-resistant caps, and sweat, NPT, Pex or CPVC union connections. All feature low head loss, with an outlet temperature strip and optional dial gauge with adaptor fitting.
Use of a mixing valve allows for domestic hot water storage at temperatures high enough to increase the effective storage capacity of a water heater, kill harmful bacteria and still be delivered at a safe 120˚F or less. Their unique design and advanced thermostatic element ensures a stable mixed water temperature.
The versatile 5000 Series is NSF 61 and ASSE 1017 certified, making it ideal for installation at domestic water distribution points. The valve provides the ultimate performance for domestic hot water applications throughout its extended 85˚-176˚F range.
The 5120 Series is NSF 61, ASSE 1017, and ASSE 1070 certified, making it applicable for point of use applications within homes, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, or public facilities. For installations where higher flow rate is needed, the High Flow 5120 Series is an ideal solution.
The 5123-WH valve easily mounts directly to a water heater and is NSF 61, ASSE 1017, and ASSE 1070 certified. For added convenience, a recirculation port is included on the valve, allowing the recirculation system’s return leg to be connected directly to the mixing valve, eliminating a secondary connection point.
