Registration is now open for the 4th Annual Women in Energy Conference from Sunday, May 19 to Monday, May 20 at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA. This event will coincide with the Eastern Energy Expo and feature an empowering two-day program filled with education and networking.
This year’s Conference theme is “Connecting, Empowering, and Succeeding.” Attendees will make valuable industry connections and gain strategies to take their careers to the next level.
The program will begin on Sunday with a panel discussion with industry leaders about empowering the next generation. Later that evening, attendees will gather for networking, dinner, and a keynote presentation by Colonel Jill Morgenthaler whose unique experiences range from a showdown with Saddam Hussein to saving an American engineer from a Soviet kidnapping. A woman of many firsts, she was one of the first women to enter an experimental class for women in the U.S. Army ROTC and train as an equal with men. She was also the first woman to run homeland security for the state of Illinois. During her military career, Colonel Morgenthaler led hundreds of men and women around the world in war and peace, and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit for her lifelong leadership. Her keynote will focus on leading with confidence.
On Monday morning, communications expert Ann Ward will give a seminar called Tough Conversations Made Easy. And in the afternoon, there will be a roundtable session about time-saving technology tools, a discussion about savvy investment strategies, and a session on best practices for running your business.
And in fitting with the Conference theme of “Connecting, Empowering, and Succeeding,” each attendee will have the opportunity to take a free digital headshot. This will enable them to put their best foot forward on their professional online profiles. Thank you to Cetane Associates LLC for sponsoring the photography session.
