Cranbury, N.J. — Hardware Holdings, LLC, a leading omni-channel distributor of home and hardware products, has acquired the Jones Stephens Corporation.  Jones Stephens is a leading distributor of plumbing specialty products, based in Moody, Alabama.

Under the Hardware Holdings umbrella, Jones Stephens joins Cranbury, NJ based HBC Home & Hardware Products, a leading distributor of quality products in the home environment, plumbing, paint sundries, security hardware, hardware and housewares categories and Houston, TX based hardware wholesale distributor, Handy Hardware.  Jones Stephens will continue to operate out of the current Moody, AL and Pottsville, PA facilities, and the management team will remain in place.

“Jones Stephens’ deep plumbing category focus is a tremendous complement to our Aqua Plumb plumbing products offering and will enhance the value we can provide to our retail partners in the hardware and general merchandise trades.  Additionally, Jones Stephens’ strength with plumbing wholesale distribution opens a new channel for our products, and we believe the acquisition will extend and enhance Jones Stephens’ respected industry position”  stated Donald C. Devine, CEO of Hardware Holdings.  “Their commitment to providing customers with best in class service, including fast shipping and quality handling, is right in line with our level of customer focus,” Mr. Devine added.

Since its 1993 founding, Jones Stephens has been developing and transforming their business with the addition of high-demand specialty decorative and rough kitchen and bath products that exceed the expectations of their expanding customer base.  “Joining forces with Hardware Holdings will add efficiencies in global sourcing, supply chain management and product development that will position both organizations for continued growth,” added Dennis Allen, CEO of Jones Stephens Corporation.
