Washington — This year’s Building Energy Summit to be held in Washington, D.C., on April 1 will set the stage for Grundfos’ steady drumbeat of Demand More from Your Pumps.
The annual Summit convenes leaders from the public and private sectors, building owners, energy experts, and technology pioneers to address the challenges and opportunities in the way we manage and operate buildings and the quest to make them more energy efficient. While discussion will focus on energy-efficient technologies and solutions, energy policy, funding and incentives, alternative sources of energy, Grundfos will focus on its message of supplying the most cost-effective and energy-efficient pumps for building owners and operators.
“It’s time to demand more from your buildings and your pumps,” explains Steve Schmitz, commercial building services business development director. “As demand for water and energy efficiency surges, building operators are zeroing in on the potential of ultra-efficient, intelligent pumps.”
Pete Korzeniewski, Grundfos district sales manager, will participate on an afternoon expert panel that will address the complex issues with energy management and building automation with a focus on how to overcome the hurdles associated with integrating HVAC, lighting controls, meters and submeters, and other devices to maximize efficiency and cost savings. Korzeniewski will focus on the Grundfos MAGNA3, a relative newcomer to the Grundfos circulator pump product line that efficiently and almost effortlessly optimizes the efficiency of HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings.
“Today’s pumps need to be smart,” adds Korzeniewski. “The key to maximum performance efficiency is widely recognized as optimising the whole building system with intelligent pumps. Over half of the buildings that will exist in 2050 are already here, and the new Grundfos intelligent system solutions pumps meet that urgent need today.”
Efficiency and Sustainability
Grundfos constantly strives to make its pumps even more efficient and energy saving. Using state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge design, Grundfos pumping solutions meet − and often surpass − virtually all customer requirements for efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
All parts of Grundfos systems solutions are specifically developed to guarantee reliable functionality, communication and adaptability specific to system demands. This, in turn, drives down the total cost of the pump system, while increasing efficient performance.
