Grundfos Launches CM, CME Pump Assembly in Pennsylvania

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — In an effort to better serve customers’ needs through expanded capacity, Grundfos has begun assembling its CM and CME horizontal multistage close-coupled pumps at its facility in Allentown, Pa., which serves as the main distribution center for the North American region.

Plans are currently underway to increase production in 2015 to include the CMBE and CME Plus systems. As part of this change, Grundfos will be releasing several new sales initiatives focused on meeting customer demands for the CM and other products.

“The startup of CM production in Allentown represents a continued commitment by Grundfos to both investing in the communities we work in, and to bring innovative solutions to our customers,” said Harland R. Pond, vice president of Business Development for Grundfos Industry and OEM. “This assembly line is one of several investments in jobs and technology we have made this year.”
