Viega educational facility offers training

ViegaWichita, Kan. — The Viega educational facility offers training courses on a wide range of plumbing industry trends and technologies.

Located in Nashua, N.H., Viega’s modern 17,000-square-foot educational facility features a stadium-seating computer lab and hands-on construction rough-in lab where full installations and live demonstrations are conducted.

A wide range of industry-related courses offered at the facility cover topics including plumbing, press technology, radiant systems, hydronics, pathogen prevention, solar thermal systems, geothermal systems and snow and ice melting. The training covers hundreds of solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

Professional instructors customize the courses to exactly meet the individual needs and experience level of the attendees. In-depth, comprehensive, unbiased classes ranging from one-day to five-day sessions are offered.

“The Viega educational facility is a fantastic resource for contractors, engineers and distributors to learn about innovative systems, as well as the industry in general,” said Jason McKinnon, manager, training and technical support, Viega. “The industry is constantly changing and we help our customers evolve along with the new technologies and products.”

Costs for the classes, which include all meals, range from $75 to $300, and add-on options for hotel, airfare and tools are also available. Classes are eligible for continuing education credits, when applicable.
