September 10, 2013 — Famous Supply in Cleveland. Hot Rod attends the well-attended Famous Supply Expo. The annual, in-house expo drew record numbers.
September 16, 2013 — Check out the Urban Garden at O’Hare Airport, a quiet spot with comfortable chairs and large windows. Up top above the G terminal concourse. Produce grown here is used in Chicago area restaurants. Plugs can be found to recharge your vices and devices.

October 23, 2013 — At Solar Power International (SPI), Nick Korth, Caleffi’s marketing coordinator, shows off his thesis on solar energy policy and political ideology.
At SPI, this booth caught Hot Rod’s eye: Bird Control Products. Nobody wants bird droppings on their solar equipment.
October 30, 2013 — Sunrise in Vegas. Mountains and machines meet; money flows like water (should) in this desert town, notes Hot Rod.
