Technology, trends highlight AHR Orlando

ClayThere’s no denying that modern technology is incredible, but to me, what’s even more incredible is the rate at which even the most innovative technology is advancing. Every year I look forward to seeing what new and upgraded HVACR equipment will be on display at the AHR Expo.

We try to spotlight the most cutting-edge developments each year through our Innovation Awards program, but with 80% of our exhibitors introducing either brand new or updated products and technology, determining the winners is no easy feat. Exhibits on the show floor range from indoor air quality to software and address the interests of contractors, engineers, distributors and facility managers, to name a few. It goes without saying, there are a lot of moving pieces involved in making AHR Expo a success for everyone.

Part of a successful AHR Expo comes from our ability to address current trends in the HVACR industry. As exhibitors sign up for January’s show, it’s apparent that manufacturers have been hard at work in redefining the limits of HVACR innovation. We see this in the ways they’ve fine-tuned, and in some cases altogether reinvented, what have already been deemed as bar-raising developments to keep us with the industry’s needs and most sought-after developments.

The line-up for the 2016 show would impress the most seasoned HVACR professional, as it includes innovation in even the most far-reaching corners of the industry.

Visitors will test wireless apps that allow the user to control refrigerant pressure remotely and in real time at the push of a button. They’ll see energy efficient cooling tower filtration systems designed to overcome inefficiencies in water usage. They will touch and hold a new extreme temperature foil tape designed for sealing high-temperature pipes. These products and technologies, as well as the hundreds of others that will be displayed at the show, were all created to keep up with the ever-changing needs of the HVACR field.

We’re proud to produce a show that, year after year, attracts exhibition from so many of the industry’s latest product manufacturers and technology developers.  Whether breaking completely new ground, or offering the latest enhancements to established products and systems, AHR Expo 2016’s anticipated exhibits clearly exemplify that the HVACR landscape is an ever-evolving one.
