North Olmsted, Ohio — From installation, to upkeep and repairs, property maintenance professionals do it all.  They are the unsung heroes of the apartment industry.  In recognition of and appreciation for the industry’s top maintenance professionals, Cleveland Faucet Group (CFG), Moen’s brand of faucets designed exclusively for the multi-family industry, is proud to announce that they are the new national sponsor of this season’s Maintenance Mania® competition, which runs from August 2012 through June 2013.  Maintenance Mania is offered by the National Apartment Association, a leading advocate for quality rental housing, and presenting sponsor HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, a leading supplier of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) products to the multi-family industry.

Maintenance Mania allows apartment maintenance technicians from around the country to compete head-to-head in various skill-based games. The events are built on common apartment maintenance issues, like fire and carbon monoxide safety installation, plumbing upkeep and lamp and ballast retrofit.

Moen and CFG created an original game for the 2012-2013 Maintenance Mania event season.  The game highlights CFG’s ease of installation, and challenges professionals to remove the ceramic disc cartridge from a single-handle CFG bathroom faucet and use that same cartridge to complete the installation of a CFG kitchen faucet – all within approximately 30 seconds.  CFG has one standard cartridge to fit all single-handle kitchen and bath faucets, helping reduce overall installation time, eliminating the need for extra supplies and diminishing the risk of installation errors.

In addition to a common faucet cartridge, CFG products offer a number of maintenance technician-friendly designs to make installation simple and fast, like Quick-Connect Flexible Supply Lines, which snap hoses together with a telltale “click” to ensure a fast, secure, tool-free installation. These benefits contribute to CFG’s lower total cost of ownership, reducing maintenance time and operational costs and eliminating the need for replacement parts – keeping technicians and residents satisfied.
