Todd Shumate
KNIPEX Tools LP announces promotion of industrial team members. Todd Shumate, formerly the vice president of sales, North America, was promoted to executive vice president. Shumate is responsible for all North American field operations and will have increased responsibilities outside of sales.
Shumate has been with the company since 2008 and has lead the KNIPEX Tools U.S. and Canadian distribution team in strong sales growth and market share gains, including record
Randy Booth
growth in 2014.
Randy Booth, formerly sales manager, was promoted to channel sales manager, distribution. In this role, he will focus on developing the area of trade distribution.
Booth has been with KNIPEX since 2010 and will have two sales managers and more than 100 manufacturer’s representatives reporting to him. His responsibilities will also include an additional sales manager in early 2015.
“The industrial distribution section of our business is growing quickly and I am pleased to announce the promotions of Todd and Randy,” said Alan Sipe, president, KNIPEX Tools. “We are on track for continued growth and success again this year and look forward to further expanding many of our departments.”
