Its HUGE!

If you’re looking to attend the largest trade show in the world showcasing innovative products, tools and training in the plumbing, mechanical, interior design, water & energy industries then look no further than ISH.

The 250,000 sq. meter, eleven multi-story exhibit halls provide the footprint to house over 2400 exhibitors. ISH happens every two years in Frankfurt, Germany and in 2015 attendance was reported over 196K. Pulling in attendees from literally all over the world the numbers are definitely impressive. We simply do not have anything like it here in North America so making the trip now for the second time, for myself was as impressive as the first.

If you’ve been to some of the bigger shows like AHR Expo or the Builder’s Show you’ve no doubt seen some large company booth displays, some even spanning 50 to 75 feet long. Well, that’s about the norm at ISH and believe it or not there are booths occupying 10K sq ft an more! Here are just a few pictures attempting to show the immensity of the displays.

This of course is a tiny sampling of the show but my intention is to show the size and stature of the displays. With booths having complete dining areas serving complementary drinks and food as the norm its easy to see the Europeans have a much different outlook on business trade opportunity and they’re taking advantage at every turn. Its a remarkable display and an enjoyable experience.
