Hitachi Koki Co. Ltd. (Hitachi Koki) announced that it would acquire 100% ownership of metabo (metabo Aktiengesellschaft). Headquartered in Nurtingen, Germany, metabo has an established brand for its high-quality products centered in the European market. Hitachi is aiming for strengthening its power tool business and expanding its business scale.
