Care to Ride
Help OESP raise money for a good cause – Oil Heat Cares. This is the main fundraiser for our foundation and it is also a great way to get outdoors and enjoy time with fellow industry peers. Select an event that you enjoy doing. OESP has something for everyone — whether it is running, a leisurely walk or one of our more dynamic activities such as riding a bicycle or the motorcycle ride.

The motorcycle event will be the first to rumble out of Hershey at 10:00a.m. – Gary White will lead the group  first to Yeungling Brewery – the oldest brewery in America. Then after lunch, he'll lead the group to the subterranean burning cauldron in Centralia – a place right out of the twilight zone. Bikers will experience one of the strangest places in the world, where unstoppable underground fires are slowly consuming miles of terrain and, along with it, an entire town.  All bikers will receive a special commemorative token of this event.

Need a Harley for the day? Call or email John Vastyan 717/664-0535, cground@ptd.net.  John's making arrangements with Schaeffer's H-D in Orwigsburg, PA.  Cruisers are $110 for the day, plus tax and insurance if you need it.  Baggers/touring bikes are $120 for the day. John's worked out a great plan for bike pick-up and drop-off.  Just give him a call (arrangements need to be made for rentals by no later than April 30).

The bicycle group will follow about 1:00 p.m. They will travel the wonderful trails of the area. At 4:00 the walkers and runners will take off, on again, a lovely park area across from the Lodge.

Registration for Care to Ride will open at 9:00 a.m. and there is a minimum pledge of $100.00 per person or $600.00 per team. Monday night we'll present awards to those that raise the most money for a good cause.

How about Golf?
Another activity you can participate in is OESP's annual Dave Nelsen Scholarship Tournament. This event is managed by one of our V.P.'s George Fantacone, Santoro Oil.   This event will take place at Deer Valley Golf Course, Hummelstown at 10:00 a.m. It is a shotgun start and the proceeds go to our Scholarship fund. We are looking for hole sponsors, special key sponsors and players. Click here Golf Tournament for details. During the registration process you can pay for golf.

Opening Reception
Join OESP and Grundfos at our Opening Reception that evening. We'll have food and beverages and special entertainment by the Wayback Machine. One of the key members of the band is Paul Fredricks, Standard Oil.  Thanks to our co-sponsor this is a complimentary event.
