Cincinnati — Monday, March 11 is World Plumbing Day.  The United Nations declared 2005-2015 the International Decade for Action on “Water for Life”, setting a world agenda that focuses increased attention on water-related issues.  With support from the World Health Organization and the World Plumbing Council, the goal is to supply access to safe drinking water supply 97 million additional people annually and sanitation services to 138 million additional people through 2015.

As one of the primary providers of plumbing service, both in the United States and internationally, Roto-Rooter understands the extreme importance of this issue.  The lack of access of clean water and sanitary access to running water worldwide is something not frequently discussed among the general American public.  To promote awareness, Roto-Rooter has put together an info-graphic to display some of the staggering facts and statistics related to this crisis.
