Woodridge, Ill. — With an impressive team of more than 40 riders, Danze, Inc. recently participated in the 24th annual Denver Children’s Hospital Courage Classic held in late July. The Courage Classic is a 3-day, 200-mile bicycle tour, which climbs over 15,000 vertical feet while riding through the Colorado Rocky Mountains to raise money for The Children’s Hospital. Team Danze lived up to its core value of being a positive contributor to the community and raised nearly $40,000 for The Children’s Hospital.

Participants of Team Danze included senior leadership and employees, friends, partners and customers from throughout the country.  In specific, several plumbing wholesale partners rode on the team, including EMCO, Mountainland Supply, Hajoca Corp, Crawford Supply, McDonald Supply, Heleck Supply, Wholesale Specialties and APR Supply.

“The course was a great, healthy challenge, both physically and mentally.  It wound through 200 miles of beautiful Rocky Mountain ski resorts and towns,” said Michael Werner, President and CEO of Danze. “The Denver Children’s Hospital provides critical care to thousands of infants and children annually.  We’re proud to contribute to this amazing institution and make a positive impact on the lives of these children and their families.”

The Children’s Hospital is a private, not-for-profit pediatric healthcare network based in Denver, Colorado. Their mission is to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy.
