Ontario, Calif. — The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO®) has hired Christopher Lindsay as manager, Government Relations, at the association’s Washington, D.C., offices.
A former special assistant at the White House in the Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives, Lindsay has recently directed a number of foundations addressing philanthropic interests, including autistic children and electrical safety. As director of programs for the Electrical Safety Foundation International (EFSI), Lindsay worked closely with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and numerous federal agencies to successfully secure grants for key industry programs.
“Christopher brings skills and experience that will perfectly complement the efforts of IAPMO Government Relations,” said Director Dain Hansen. “With his background in nonprofits, foundations and even at the White House, he will be a powerful asset to our public policy efforts.”
