The year-long program – “Caleffi Excellence” – which encourages designers and installers of hydronic or plumbing systems to showcase their work and receive national recognition has completed the first quarter competition of the contest.
The top four contestants, as determined by most audited votes received from the public, received an iPad™ mini and will be invited to join Bob Rohr, Caleffi training and education manager, on our next Coffee with Caleffi™ webinar (October 31) to discuss their winning designs.
The grand prize winner is Piotr Zelasko of Able Distributors (Chicago, Ill.). Mr. Zelasko and a guest of his choice, has won a trip to Italy to see Caleffi World Headquarters and will receive a personalized tour of our factories and design facilities. Mr. Zelasko’s entry: Hydronics Inc. GeoX Hybrid Comfort System was selected from a panel of industry experts and Caleffi executives.
“Interestingly the top four vote-getters all showcased renewable systems with geothermal dominating”, said Mark Olson, GM. “But I’ll tell you what, there were some great bread and butter designs as well. We learned some things on how our products are used… a bonus for us honestly”.
