Bosch Power Tools names new members of executive management team

Effective April 1, 2013, Henk Becker will become a new member of the Executive Management of the Bosch Power Tools Division. He will be responsible for engineering worldwide and business with professional power tools as well as measuring tools. These functions have been performed to date by Henning von Boxberg, who took up the position as President of the Bosch Power Tools Division on January 1, 2013, and Dr. Egbert Schneider, Vice President Engineering worldwide.

Henk Becker studied mechanical engineering in Hanover and Birmingham, and joined the Bosch Group in 1995. After various jobs in engineering, strategic corporate planning and as management assistant, Henk Becker took up the position of Head of the Engineering Center for the division Automotive Electronics in Budapest in 2005. In 2008 he became Vice President Power Electronics in the Automotive Electronics Division in Reutlingen.
Jose Mauro Mendes Pelosi (51) will also become a member of the Executive Management of the Bosch Power Tools Division on April 1, 2013. He will take over responsibility for production and logistics from Kurt Schreier who is moving simultaneously to the Executive Management of the Electric Drives Division where he will be in charge of production.

Jose Mauro Mendes Pelosi studied mechanical engineering in Rio de Janeiro and business administration in São Paulo. In 1990, Mr. Pelosi joined the Bosch Group. He held several management positions in Brazil for the Starters and Generators, Chassis Systems Control and Diesel Systems Divisions. Since 2009, he is a member of the Executive Management in the Electric Drives Division with responsibility for production.
Dr. Egbert Schneider, who has held the post of Vice President Engineering worldwide in the Bosch Power Tools Division since 2002, will transfer on May 1, 2013 to the Starters and Generators Division where he will become Vice President Engineering on July 1, 2013.
