Bosch Commercial Heat Pump Control

For use with its commercial FHP heat pumps, Bosch Thermotechnology offers a DDC Controller option that is preprogrammed and factory installed to be jobsite ready. The optional FHP DDC Controller is installed with the unit’s Unit Protection Module (UPM) which controls the heat pump’s operations and monitors the safety controls that protect it. The DDC Controller operates in 100% stand-alone control mode or connects to a BAS using open protocols like BACnet, Modbus, N2 or LonWorks. It provides real-time information on zone temperatures, leaving air and water temperatures and more, all of which can be monitored from a central control computer/laptop with unit fault indications displayed. To complement the Controller, Bosch FHP offers a line of intelligent space sensors to provide precision measurement and communication capabilities in an attractive low profile enclosure.

RTS Standard

RS Plus offering a local set point adjustment and override to an occupied mode and LED indication of current status

RS Pro offering a large LCD display and easy-to-adjust occupant controls for set point adjustment

Bosch FHP offers over 15 available input/outputs for the DDC Controller including discharge air temperature, leaving water temperature, fan run time, night setback status, heating and cooling set points and alarm status, among others.

A BACview hand-held diagnostic tool is also available to allow local access to display and modify user-defined properties without the need for any computer software.
