AHRI sponsors, judges PHCC Skills competition

Last week AHRI Vice President of Public Affairs Francis Dietz and Director of Education Warren Lupson attended the PHCC Annual Meeting and apprenticeship competition in New Orleans.

Among the highlights of the meeting was a two-day competition in which 31 HVACR and plumbing apprentices had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Lupson and Thomasena Philen (Daikin) were judges at the competition, which was co-sponsored by AHRI, using equipment donated by AHRI members A.O. Smith, Emerson Climate Technologies, and Rheem. Emerson and Rheem served along with AHRI as headline sponsors of the event.
